Privacy.

Caterpillar Hill Ltd respects and protects the privacy of people who use the Organoidspheroid.com website (the “Website”) and other Caterpillar Hill initiatives. Individually available information about you is not disclosed to any third party without first receiving your permission such as at events run by organoidspheroid.com where a manual or automatic opt in is selected by an individual registering for the event, as explained in this Privacy Policy.

What information do we collect and how do we use it?

Caterpillar Hill Ltd does not collect any unique information about you (such as your name, e-mail address etc), except when you specifically and knowingly provide such information.

Caterpillar Hill Ltd collects data when you register to receive our email newsletter or via the completion of other sign up forms such as events. We collect this data, via the email address provided, to share with you relevant Caterpillar Hill Ltd/industry related and occasional relevant third party (including sponsored content), namely:

1: Blogs and website articles produced by Caterpillar Hill Ltd on industry related topics.

2: eNewsletters and emails– periodically produced news highlighting own and third party content.

3: Event information – news of own and third party events that we feel would be of interest to you.

GDPR for World Organoid Research Day and other events:

Caterpillar Hill Limited is registered with ICO in the UK and we require our event providers and platforms to meet the same ICO standards and recommendations.

• Registrants details for in person events may be shared with sponsors of the event for the purposes of a one time email before the event and once after.  Registrants may choose to opt in/or out of this and other contact sharing options if desired via the event platform used.
• Your details are securely stored on our CRM System and/or email database. By providing personal details during registration you are consenting to the use of those details for the purposes of identifying you as a unique user. 
• The information you provide when registering will not be shared with any other entity or organisation, without your explicit consent, aside from our sponsors, joint promotion partners or service providers who operate elements of our service and process data on our behalf, and apart from your username, which will appear on blog entries, submissions to forums and other submissions you make for inclusion on the website.
• We will not use the information submitted through the registration process on the Website for any other purpose if you indicate that you do not want us to, and we will not pass your contact details to any third party for the purpose of making any marketing communication except co-promotion partners to you without having first received your explicit consent.
• All data collected will be held within the European Union and the European Economic Area or other territory complying with the legal and technical guidelines laid down for handling data by the European Union and will only be used for the specific purpose for which it was sought and to which you consented. It will not be used for any other purpose whatsoever. Any personal data we hold on you will be deleted or updated upon request and any inaccurate or misleading data held will be changed or deleted upon your request. Details of the data we hold on you will be provided on request. Any request of this nature should be directed to the e-mail address shown at the bottom of this notice.

Content and shared content including social media.

All content on this website and that which is published or reshared on social media platforms is supplied and provided with the best of intentions, this includes all content that is provided by third party advertisers.

The publisher  (Caterpillar Hill ltd) agrees to publish advertisements/posts etc supplied by the advertiser, and to use reasonable or best endeavours to maintain the availability of the advertisements on the website or platform during the relevant period.  In consideration for the publisher agreeing to provide advertising services to the advertiser, the advertiser agrees to pay the applicable charges, warrants that the advertising content provided will not create any liabilities for the publisher, and indemnifies the publisher in the event of a breach of that warranty.  Hyperlinks are provided to other websites most relevant to the nature of the site. Links of all nature can of course be removed if requested by the websites owner.  GDPR or equivalent must be adhered too for all captured and stored information by advertisers/third parties. The publisher accepts no liability for own web site or social media business platform termination beyond its control.

Grant applications.

Grant donation winners agree for their project and information to be used in marketing purposes by Caterpillar Hill Limited and its ventures. All applicants data is stored in our private company information folder within our secure Microsoft account or other.
